I’m Santohsi Lama, first of all, think you for clicking on my page and checking it out. About me, I don’t know where to start. May be I’ll start with the country I’m from. Nepal is the country I’m from and I was born in capital of Nepal, named Kathmandu. I’ve lived there for 22 years with my family in our little house with house full of people. I grew up in an invariant where I could hear words of colors passing by, sound of a pencil scratching on a piece of paper and smell of oldy and moldy colors all around the house. My family does our traditional art called Thanka and I’ve had help to do the traditional art for my family. By helping my family to do art, helped me to learn about Art, the colors and the beauty of it. Coming to this country have been huge experience to me. Leaving my family, friends and my smelly house behind wasn’t that easy. But, when I found YAC, it mad me feel like I’m at home but I don’t mean YAC smells too. YAC has been giving me great opportunity, and I would like to thank from very bottom of my heart for what you’ve done for me. Usually, I create my art from inspirations. It could be anywhere, anyone or anything. Some of are from my dreams, some of are from photographs and some of are form National Geographic magazines, but I do use some ideas and techniques that I’ve learned from my experience. I don’t have or use particular materials in my works because as I told you, I work from inspirations that’s mean, a pencil could inspirer me while I’m doing water color. Whish, my days will bring colors, my nights will inspirer me and my pencil will create something that will bring happiness and$$$$$$$$$$ to me. Thank you guys! Or giving your precious time to read my broking English. Hope you guys understood what I was trying to say. If not, just let you know that I’m still learning English.
